41w 4d...is he ever gonna come?!

I started having early labor signs at just over 37 weeks and we thought for sure baby was gonna come early. Ha! Here we are at almost 42 weeks and he's still not here! I go for my biophysical profile tomorrow just to make sure all looks well, but I sure am ready to hold my precious son!

I had mine at 41w 4d! It was so hard to be patient but totally worth it. I loved my labor and birth experience. GL!

Im at 41w 2d today and I feel like he is never going to come either.

My OB will induce me tomorrow at the ten day mark. I dont even want to be induced but Im ready to meet my little man and Im done with this.

41w 0d today, going to see the delivering doc again tomorrow. Hospital policy is not to interfere until past 10d overdue, unless indicated. So far there has been no indication, but I figure that means either way it is bound to happen this week, on its own or after induction.

I still feel great physically, but I am so so ready now to meet our little baby! I am really looking forward to going through birth with my DH, which is so unlike me. Previously, I never put much thought into the birthing process. I just felt it most likely is unpleasant, but that's okay since it's a few days out of so many wonderful pregnancy moments. So I suppose that is what the waiting period while being overdue was really good for !
