CD- how do you store your stash? & a question about pockets/inserts...

I am an?organizational?freak (in a good way) and I'm trying to get everything ready for le bebe. I bought some plastic drawers that fit under the "knee space" in the bathroom- where I will be changing her diapers. I'm pretty sure it will work just fine.?

But I have a question about pockets and inserts... after you do laundry, do you go ahead and stuff your pockets so they're ready? Or do you wait until you need one and stuff it then? I know I'll have to figure out what works best for ME- I'm just wondering what everyone else does...?

Feel free to post pics!!! I would love to SEE your stash... (hmmm.... makes me think we should do an 'AW your stash post')?

    I use mostly pf and covers but have a few pockets.  I stuff them when folding laundry.  I keep my cd in baskets on her dresser next to the changing table.

    DANG...we have to wait for the "AW your stash" post.  I'm OOT, and can't take pics!!

     

    I have no choice but to prestuff all of my pockets as they come out of the laundry.  I'm 99.999% certain that if I were to leave them unstuffed, I would find my son drenched in pee after wearing a pocket diaper.  Without an absorbent layer inside.  There is NO WAY I could adequately educate my husband on the proper technique of diaper stuffing.  Inconceivable.

    I stuff as soon as they're dry.  I found that its much easier on me to do it all at once ... especially if you're dealing with a 2am, sleepless night kinda change.  I have pockets, AIOs, & fitteds in our top dresser drawer.  The drawer below that has PFs, covers/soakers/longies, extra inserts and doublers.

    I prestuff.  When I get my liners for overnight use, I think I will just leave them out and add it in right before I change her for bed.  I use the BG's at night and during the day, so I wouldn't be able to designate which ones would be just for night use, kwim?

    I am getting more stuff on Tuesday, so I can AW my stash after then. ;)

    I pre-stuff everything when they come out of the dryer.  I stack the diapers on my changing table along with my cloth wipes and spray bottle so everything is right there.  I also have an organizer on the back of the door which is where I store my extra liners, wet bag, and diapers that are stuffed with a super soaker for nighttime use.

    I store my pockets and AIOs in a bin and PFs lay flat on a shelf.

    I prestuff my pockets too.

    Imagine a very unhappy baby screaming and needing a diaper change. Now imagine letting the baby lay there while you stuff a pocket... not a pretty image in my mind! Plus, if you get in a hurry you're more likely to have the insert get twisted up or something.

    I stuff when I do laundry.  That way everything is ready to go.  This isn't my whole stash, but it's the pic I have on the computer already.  I have baskets from Michael's on the shelves of my changing table with my CD's in them.  One for covers and fitteds, one for extra inserts and one for folded, stuffed pockets (in the picture).

    I prestuff my pockets as well. ?I have two baskets under my changing table, one for pockets and one for nighttime dipes and doublers. ?

    Right now all of her diapers are just lined up on a shelf in her closet. We're moving next weekend and they will go in one of those toy bin shelf things from Target. I can't wait to actually organize them. lol

     I stuff all of my pockets right out of the dryer. It's faster and easier when I go to change her diaper.

    we have a really small nursery and a changing table/dresser combo.  i keep our pf's stacked flat in one of the smaller drawers (this won't work once we have larger pf's).  covers hang from mug hooks under a wall shelf above the changing table. i have our pockets (prestuffed) and fitteds stacked in our diaper stacker (the cloth one that came with out bedding set).  i would love to pip my stash but i gotta get some pics when their all clean - which is hard to do!

    fwiw - i HATE stuffing pockets!  mostly because i hate the feel of microfiber on my hands.  like nails on a chalkboard!
