Because im curious and so many women that i encounter always seem to have a full face of makeup (which is strange to me being that I only use eye makeup on a daily basis..I cant commit to using foundation or any face makeup short of a dab of concealer on spots when needed, anything more and i feel like i can feel my pores clogging! Is this weird?)
What is your daily makeup routine?
Do you wear makeup any time you go out in public?
Do you still put on makeup even if you don't plan on leaving the house?
EDIT to fix formatting. Oops.

If I'm going out - to work, shopping, out to dinner or out with friends...
on a clean, bare face I apply a few drops of hyaluronic acid (is very moisturizing especially in winter), then smashbox light primer, then foundation (bare minerals), a bit of very light bronzer, blush on the apples of my cheeks, eyeshadow primer *or* a cream eyeshadow base, lid/crease color, eyeliner, and mascara. Lipgloss 99% of the time. Full face of makeup.
If I don't plan on leaving the house... hell nah. If it's a quiet day and I just have to go to, like, the grocery store, then maybe just some powder and mascara. And lipgloss. Always lipgloss.

I like a tinted moisturizer with SPF 30 and then eye liner, shadow, mascara and I'm done! I really like the tinted moisturizer by Clinique.
If I'm feeling fancy or for nights out, I add Bare Escentuals mineral powder and some blush.
I hate lipstick so I only ever wear chapstick.
I don't wear makeup everyday. I will go to the store with out any on. Mostly work days and when I go out with DH.
I wear Bare Minerals. I use the primer first. Love the stuff. Bruch on some foundation, a little warmth on the cheeks and Mineral Veil. Mascara. Eyeshadow and Eyeliner aren't an everyday thing tho. Take me less than 5 minutes for all though.
I love bare minerals because I never get the feeling like i'm wearing paint on my face.

Me too! That stuff is great!
I've tried it, but I like Trish McEvoy's Eye Base Essentials better... I find it doesn't cause any of my eyeshadow colors to change color when I put them on over top of it (huge peeve of mine w/shadow primers), and really holds the shadow onto my lids longer than anything else. It has a nice consistency and is really blendable with your finger, but I still use a cream shadow brush for more precision.

I used to wear makeup ALL the time....At least foundation and powder(I have a horrible complexion.)
My skin has been clearing up, so I haven't been wearing as much...
But my makeup routine when I do wear it usually is a light coat of foundation, a loose powder, some blush(light), eyeliner(thin, not bold), neutral eye shadow, and mascara.
Wow, that sounds like a lot...but really it only takes about 5 minutes for me to apply.

I use Bare Minerals products. I just use the loose powder foundation, glee (blush), and mascara -- it takes me about 5 minutes. I also use Aveeno facial moisturizer. I don't wear makeup if I'm just staying home or running a few errands. If we're going out on a date night or some other fancy occassion, I'll also wear some eye shadow, and more blush.
I use Boi-ing by Benefit as an undereye concealer. I have also tried the double ended concealer/highlight pen from Maybelline and that gave me some nice results too but I have found that the former is easier to blend and the application is quick. The benefit stuff is I think around $20 but it lasts forever and I think its worth it for me.

I usually do Mary Kay foundation, powder, light eye shadow, mascara, and Burt's Bees chapstick. I'm self-conscience without make-up after years of fighting bad skin, but I don't wear it for just around the house and sometimes I'll run an errand without it.
I'm curious--those who do a tinted moisture, what brand is it?
I am a makeup whore! I will leave the house without it, but it is rare. If I'm running or working out I don't wear makeup. Also, I don't wear it when I'm hunting.
My everyday routine is:
Estee Lauder Idealist for my enlarged pores. Day Wear SPF 30 moisturizer. Liquid foundation, blush, finishing powder on my face. Full eyes everyday with brows, eyeshadow, mascara and a highlighting concealer. I wear lipgloss and sometimes lipstick. In the summer, I skip the foundation and just use finishing powder and bronzer.
I can't live without my mascara. I have blonde lashes and brows, so they look non-existent without makeup.

"Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength."
I typically don't leave the house with no makeup on unless I'm going to the gym. Most days I do my eyes (shadow, liner, mascara) and then just some poweder and bronzer on my face. During the winter I will sometimes use Bare Minerals foundation for work as well.
If I'm just staying home and I know DH will be here I'll still do some lighter makeup on my eyes. Just makes me feel better I guess.
I never ever wear lipstick. I can't stand it.
I have horrible skin, so make up is a must.
I wear make up forever HD foundation and MAC studio fix powder. Cannot use anything mineral because it makes my face itchy.
For eyes, I use lots of different MAC colors, but I recently just got the Naked UD palate and I love it. I tend to wear either brown or eggplant liner on the top lids. I use Dior mascara.
I hate lip gloss, but love chap stick.
I always have makeup on, but to be honest it's because I'm too lazy to take it off. I remove it every morning when I shower and then reapply as soon as I get out of the shower.
Everyday: I wear moisturizer, eyeliner, mascara, and Chapstick.
When I am going out or want to look nice, I do moisturizer, Almay Smart Shade foundation, mineral powder, blush, eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and lip stain (I can't stand how lipstick feels on my lips).
The only thing that I splurge on is my eyeliner. I have to have Stilla Kajal liner.
If I know I am not going anywhere or just running errands around my area (grocery store, etc) I won't wear makeup.
My normal daily routine when I am going out or for work is Clinique moisturizer, Clinique pressed powder, a little bronzer, eyeshadow (3 colors, all subtle though), eyeliner, mascara (on bottom only, I have lash extension so no need to wear on top
) and lipgloss.
What is your daily makeup routine?
Since I SAH, I only wear make-up when I feel like it. If I feel like it, or if I'm going somewhere, then I wear vegan mineral foundation powder from everydayminerals.com (my face breaks out with anything else), and some blusher. I wear eye-shadow about half the time. And I wear mascara about half the time I wear eye-shadow because my eyes get really irritated from mascara...I just found some all-natural vegan mascara on etsy, which I'm eager to try. Hopefully it'll work out, because I love how mascara looks.
Do you wear makeup any time you go out in public?
Most of the time I do, but not all of the time. I definitely do if I have some spots to cover up.
Do you still put on makeup even if you don't plan on leaving the house?
Sometimes. Most of the time I don't, but sometimes it's fun to get made up even if I'm not going anywhere.
I use Laura Mercier as well, and am a big fan!

Daily around the house : None
Out in public : Lorac foundation, bare minerals powder, blush, eyeshadow trio, eye liner, mascara, lip gloss
summer/beach : tinted SPF
I have terrible dark under-eye circles. The best stuff I have found is Bobby Brown creamy concealer kit. It comes with loose powder to set the cream. I don't leave home without it.
I never leave home without the above concealer, mascara and lipgloss. My usual routine is Bare Minerals (foundation, warmth, and blush), liquid eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, brow color (powder), loose powder, and lipgloss.

OCT 2011 Moms BlogLaura Mercier tinted moisturizer is the best. It makes your face look flawless without looking like you have makeup on.
I then lightly apply Clinque's Superpowder compact with a blush brush so that it isn't caked on and just takes the shine away. If I have circles I use Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage. I put a touch of Neutrogena blush on. I always curl my lashes with Shu Umera's curler (amazing) and use Dior's Show masacara. For lips, I just like gloss.
I wash my face twice with dove soap, and wear spf 15 moisturizer everyday. Usually clinique pressed powder, clinique blush, and mabelline volume express mascara, and the light blue medicated chapstick. if i'm getting dressed up i do foundation, eyeliner, brow color, and shadow, with lipgloss. i used to wear eye base, but kinda got out of the habit. i'd like to start wearing it again though., it just makes my eyes look so much more awake and bright.
