Please! We have huge struggles with DS' sleep, but I think slowly, it's starting to improve. He's down from 10+ wakeups every night to more like 5-7, and he's getting progressively easier to put down.
But, he seems convinced that 3:30 am is the time to wake up. He's in a great mood, and nothing works to get him back down.
He goes down for bed between 6:00 and 7:00, should I move it later (when he's gone to bed earlier, it's usually worse, a lot more wakeups, etc..) We really struggle with the afternoon nap, so I wonder if that has something to do with it...
ANY suggestions?
Re: Help me move his wakeup!!
Is he swaddled? DD still is for that very reason... she wakes herself up.
We have an odd schedule so her bed time is 12 midnight, and she doesn't wake up for the day until about 11. (2-3 times to eat in there)
Completely unrelated, but your kid just gets cuter and cuter! She looks just like you too!
Oh my gosh, that schedule sounds awesome! I realized how weird ours was the other day when I was hungry for lunch at 10 am!
We just stopped swaddling because he was spending so much of the night fighting it trying to get to his hands. Once we stopped he has actually been able to put himself back to sleep a couple times even....I know early to bed late to rise is what they say, but I'm tempted to try and move his bedtime back a bit since he seems to be rested once he wakes up then...
