binky and I never knew why until I was in the pacifier aisle at BRU and saw a playtex brand pacifier called...binky! i hate that term but dh hates paci so whatever.

I really think the "Binky" brand pacifier is new. They were probably the only company smart enough to copyright the name since it was a common nickname.

Maybe I'm wrong. I never saw one till recently either. And this is my 3rd baby.

I called it a nuk for a long time then adding a bit of baby-talk it turned into a 'nukker'. So that's what I refer to it as. And now DH is beginning to call it that as well.
