I know that all kids love Mickey Mouse but the more I think the more I feel like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse can't really have the girl vibe I want it to. DD absolutely loves that show so I picked it. I'm not really a girly girl but I don't want to take that from her. Am I being too sensitive to this? I realize I could be completely making a big deal of nothing.

Re: Is DD's theme to "boy"
I was just at a scrapbooking store today looking for stuff to make our invitations with. There was A TON of Minnie Mouse stuff there. Maybe if you put a Minnie Mouse swing on it then it won't be so "boyish".
Not to boyish, just add some girly minnie mouse touches

Bean's birthday was a "candy shop" birthday, a theme I've only seen for girls. We butched it up with brighter, "more masculine" colors (I guess). If you like it, go for it!
This. I was thinking of getting a shirt for the party and I'm going to see if I can get the person that makes the shirt to add a bow at the top of the clubhouse to make it Minnie Mouse's Clubhouse. Thanks ladies!!!
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
My favorite money saving tip: I've earned more than $300 in gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, Southwest!) using SwagBucks for internet searching - and you can too! It's FREE and EASY!
Not if you pick things that are girly to compliment the theme. Check out this site https://www.polka-dot-market.com/catalog.php?category=111
You could do polka dot favor boxes or plated to go with Minnie Mouse
