I am having an adversion to chicken, which is terrible since DH and I used to have that 4-5 nights a week. Now I do not know what to eat. It's been turkey meatballs, turkey burgers, Boca Burgers, and a little fish. I am tired of being creative! JK, but does anyone have any easy meals that do not include chicken? Also, is there a chance this adversion will disapear along with my nausea in the second try?! ![]()
Thanks!
Re: How long long does food adversions typically last?
I know how you feel. I am now 10 weeks and the m/s is still really bad.
I made tacos the other night and they tasted really good. I used the hard taco shells, ground beef (can use turkey too), sour cream, cheese, lettuce and salsa. Other than that a lot of pasta and mashed potatoes, any carbs taste good. Mot foods though make me sick just thinking about it. I am hoping by week 12 to have some relief'
I am happy to report in the last week I am almost back to normal! my problem was beef prepared any way, and only at dinner time. I still have some weird food + smell issues sometimes but I am eating at night again and feel somewhat normal!! hang in there!
I've had an aversion to meat, period : Thankfully I used to be a vegetarian, so finding sources of lean protein isn't an issue.
I feel like the anti-Phoebe... Carnivorous until I got KU.
