anyone going to/been to Winterfest?

Abe and I are planning to go this year. I'm going as the DD (bummed I won't be able to sample) and was just curious about what I should expect. Do people get completely moronic or do they mostly maintain a respectful level of sobriety? I'm excited to visit different brewers and their booths and we're hoping to learn more about home brewing.

    That sounds like so much fun!  We bought my BIL a home brewing kit a few years ago for Christmas and it's fun to hear about the different brews he can make.

    I have a couple friends that are going...I wish I could go...and sample. haha.

     

    if it's anything like the BrewFest in the summer, most people are good about their level of sobriety, but you'll probably have a few that are obnoxious and annoying. I had some girl want to fight me because a friend came to wait in line with me (she wasn't even drinking).

    We went last year.  It was fun.  There are people that are drunk, yes, but I did not see too many morons.  In my opinion, it was much calmer than the summer Brewfest!  You'll be able to tell who is in it to 'drink as much as you can', and those who are truly there to sample and socialize. 

    I think you'll have a really good time.  I am disappointed we are not able to go this year, but am already looking forward to the summer Brewfest. Big Smile

    DH & I are going. We went to the one over the summer and it was fun....once we had a few! It was kind of overwhelming at first and it was soooooo hot. But this one is inside and I think it will be better. I'm looking forward to it!
