Success after IF

Mad at dh and he doesn't get it...

today we went to the grocery store and on the way out it started raining.  Dh was pushing the stroller, so while I put the groceries in the trunk, he put the the girls in the car. Well, he didn't put the stroller brakes on so when he took katie out to put her in the car, the wind caught the stroller and carried it out into traffic with Karly in it!  I dropped everything and went to grab it but dh caught it.  I'm still scared of what could of happened and it is his fault!  He said it was an accident and nothing happened so I shouldn't be upset about it but i just want to punch him in the head.

Re: Mad at dh and he doesn't get it...

  • i would feel the same way.

when dh was getting used to the stroller he put it on the porch and as he was getting ready to put the baby in it the wind caught it and blew it off the porch and into the street.  i freaked.  it was no biggie to him.

i will say that after that he never forgot to set the brake again.  so maybe today's episode will stick with your dh.

  • There was a story that happened in Chicago last year but it has stayed with me ever since.

A grandfather was strolling a baby near the lake.  A wind came up, swept the baby and stroller into the lake.  It took 15 minutes to pull the baby from the water.  I think about that story every day.
