  Same old, same old for me.  I am looking forward to one day trying again.

  QOTW: I think I want 2, but if this one doesn't happen, I will be fine with 1.  For a long time I wanted 2.  I think for a while DH wanted a lot--like 5 or 6.  But, now I think he is fine with 1 or 2.  He worries about being able to afford another one.

  It seems like every time I answer this I'm hoping more and more to tell you to add us on to the "trying" list.  However, we're still not there. 

  QOTW:  I think I want 2 or 3.  DH wants 2.  I think we'll be better prepared to answer that after we've had one.  

  Cute story - DH is pretty scared of kids - he's never spent any time around them his whole life so he's just not very comfortable around them.  A couple of weeks ago, my brother and his gf came to visit.  They brought her 5 yr old.  While they were content to let him play Wii the whole time, we were not.  We finally convinced him to come play on the playscape with us.  It was so fun to see DH playing out there.  They were fighting octopusses (octopi?) from the top of the slide.  Afterward, DH admitted that kids could be alot of fun if you really play with them.  Needless to say, that did not help my baby fever. (There was really no point to that story...I just wanted to share. )

  Jess.O, that is adorable. Even though I've known for years that DH was ready for kids before I was, every time I would see a sign of it I would melt just a little  
  

  Update: Charting has confirmed that my cycle is, indeed, still messed up. I had EWCM last Thursday (at least I thought that's what it was) and then basically nothing, but my thermal shift didn't happen until Monday, which basically means I O'd on Sunday. On day 17, three days after the EWCM. And of course since my temps hadn't shifted, I knew I didn't O on Friday or Saturday, but DH was sick so alas no BD. I know it will happen at some point, but the chances for this month are not that awesome. So there you are. Thanks for making it through my TMI (and too many acronyms).

  QOTW: We definitely want two, and then we'll have to see from there. 

  QOTW Suggestion: I really want to know how long people were off BC before their cycles regulated. Can we ask that?

  If you missed my post from early this morning, you can add me to the meds category. AF showed up this morning, and as per my fertility consult with my ob a few weeks ago, I will go in for an ovary scan and blood draw on Friday (CD3). Then I'll start clomid on Sunday for 5 days (CD5-9). During our consult the ob said I'm O-ing too late and clomid should stimulate my ovaries to grow healthier eggs and help me O closer to CD14, which she feels will much improve our chances of conceiving. So we will see. QOTW: I have always wanted 3, DH wants 2 (he also worries about affording more than 2, plus we are getting old - he's 42 and I'm 38 - so he worries about that too). My greatest hope for DS (aside from his health and happiness) is for him to have a sibling so even though things look grim right now, I'm not ready to stop trying. Although we love DS more than anything, I just have this overwhelming feeling that our family is not complete, kwim?

  We are on a break from fertility meds for a few cycles and this past cycle, I actually o'ed on my own on day 15.  Thats earlier than I ever have on or off meds, yay!  So I am actually feeling pretty good about the break, and hoping we won't have to move forward with injectable meds. 

  QOTW:  If money (and fertility) were no problem, I would love to have 3.  Realistically I think it will be 2.  DH has similar feelings.

  Jess: story was too cute.  I loved watching DH play with my nephew and nieces before we had L.  He was great with them.

   Kirk: we can ask that next time
