NER: Costume Help

You ladies are resorceful, so I hope you can help.

Does anyone know where I could find a vintage (read: June Cleaver) type apron asap?  I found a bunch on Etsy, but I am worried about not getting one in time for Friday.

I have a 40's style dress that I am going to wear instead of buying a cheapo one online, but I need an apron to complete the outfit.

Thanks!!

  • I would look at vintage or used clothing stores near you (even Ragstock or Salvation Army, Goodwill type).  We have several in our area that I know would work.

Also ask around - friends or coworkers may have something you could borrow.  I know I have a few my great-grandpa made (how cool is that?!) and chances are good others might as well.

  • I would suggest looking at a thrift store too. That may be the quickest (and cheapest!) option out there. GL!

  • Could you ask an etsy seller to rush your order and pay more for shipping?
