Bottle Feeding Quest...

LO is almost 4 weeks old. I've been pumping and giving him BM by bottle. I'm using Tomee Tipee slow flow nipples. LO can finish 3 to 4 ounces within 5 minutes. It just seems too fast. I'm worried about overfeeding. He gained 9 ounces within 4 days. How long does it take your LO to finish a bottle and do you have any recommendations for a slower flowing nipple.bottle? TIA.

    I found the TT slow flow nipples were not that slow. I went back to dr browns with the slow flow nipples. Others on here really like breastflow, too. But I haven't used them so I can't tell you anything more than that.

    it takes DD any were from 15-30 mins to finish a 4oz bottle. I use Dr. Browm bottles and I love them. Yes they are a pain to clean, but I think it is worth it.

    I like Avent! The newborn nipple is nice and slow. I've heard Tommy tippees are fast!

    We tried Tommy Tippees too and LO ended up gagging...too fast.  We use the Nuk bottles and those seem to work well. It takes LO about 10-15 minutes to eat 2.5ish oz.
