Newbie Seeking ET Help

I have just started my first IVF cycle (2nd shot was tonight).  My RE said that I am likely going to be a very good candidate for single embryo transfer, provided I respond well to stims.  I am very conflicted by this...  I really want this first round of IVF to be successful and I feel like transferring one embryo may not provide me with the best chances.  That said, multiples scare me.

I am just looking for personal experiences from other ladies that have gone through this before.  How many embryos did you transfer and how many stuck?

    My only friend IRL that did IVF transferred one egg and ended up with a beautiful baby girl! She and her husband didn't want multiples.

    Thanks ladies.  I have read many more posts and there seem to be quite a few women out there that are successful with one embryo transfer.Smile  Both hubby and I are on the same page.  I guess it will really come down to the shape of the embies!!
