**3T Weekly Check-In**

Re: **3T Weekly Check-In**

  • Update: I am still in the unmedicated TI cycle. I think I am in my 2WW, since I didnt keep track. I tested on Saturday, BFN. I think AF is on her way any minute. If she doesnt show by Saturday I will test again. Longest cycle I have ever had was 42 days so I still have a week to go. Once AF shows I will start injectables and IUI for the last IUI before moving on to IVF. During this cycle we are also doing all required blood tests we are missing and going to the IVF class so we are ready to start right away.

Can you add Injectables + IUI + progesterone to my treatments? Thanks Zook!!

QOTW: What is the last big-ticket item you bought? Do you still love it or do you now regret it?

We have not made many big ticket purchases lately in hopes soon we will have someone else to buy big things for. But we did get an ipad, which I absolutely love.

  • Update: Zook could you update me to say IVF #2, not sure how on break got there. I take my last BCP today, starts stims on Saturday and first monitoring U/S next Thursday. I am hopeful the new protocol will bring us our BFP.

QOTW: What is the last big-ticket item you bought? Do you still love it or do you now regret it?I bought a new Nissan Versa hatchback at the end of March last year and am still loving it!

    after 2+ years, 3 failed IUIs, 2 failed IVFs with a c/p

  • Update:  I am still on my break cycle.  Again like the cycle after failed IVF #1, I am having a lot of random spotting.  But it is more intermittent and never as heavy.  So, I wait.  If AF doesn't show up in a week or so, I will call the new RE, do some b/w and get a prescription for Provera or something else to jump start my cycles.  I wonder if AF will show with all of this on and off again spotting, I definitely can't have too much of a lining.  Once I start a new cycle, I am going to redo all of my previous testing including having a HSG.

QOTW:  Our last big ticket item was our house.  Well, I guess we bought our bed after that, but it wasn't too expensive.  Anyhow, we love our house, but have run into a lot of problems that we have been unable to fix because we paid for IVF cycles.  We likely will need to figure out how to afford repairs this year even if we try another IVF cycle.  We bought a king size cherry sleigh bed and a pillow-topped memory foam mattress soon after we moved into our hourse and we both love it completely!

  • Hi Zook! Could you put my TTC start date as 1/2009? Looks like I mis-typed my initial entry.

Update: We're doing our first IUI January 18th.

QOTW: Our last big ticket item was probably our plasma TV, four years ago. I've really caught on to DH's thriftiness :-)

  • Update: Still haven't gotten in to see OB/GYN. Apparently, according to my GP, in Canada our healthcare system doesn't allow us to "cherry-pick" which healthcare we want. So since I'm currently on the waiting list for the Fertility Clinic, the OB/GYN won't take me. ARG! So, I'm going to have to wait until I get in at the Fertility Clinic to get an HSG done. Also, in the end ov November, the Fertility Clinic got my GP to order more tests, so I had to get a PAP done and a blood test for HTLV II. So now we are still waiting. Still temping and charting all that stuff, because there's nothing else we can do at this point. So frustrating! QOTW: What is the last big-ticket item you bought? Do you still love it or do you now regret it? The last thing we bought was our kitchen table in the fall and I still love it....we'll see how I feel at around the one year mark.

  • No updates really.

QOTW: Our most recent big purchase was a fire pit for the back yard. It's huge and I love it. We have big cookouts with friends and family and we can stay somewhat warm outside :)

  • Update: Just entering the 2WW after a +OPK on Friday and remaining hopeful for this cycle.

QOTW: What is the last big-ticket item you bought? Do you still love it or do you now regret it?

Our last big-ticket item was DH's truck a 2010 Chevy Silverado. We love the truck and definitely needed the extra room for our (hopefully expanding) family. DH's old truck was getting high on mileage and starting to overheat.

  • Treatment update:  Clomid/Bravelle/IUI this morning!

What is the last big-ticket item you bought? Do you still love it or do you now regret it? We are saving our pennies for home renovations, but in September we bought a second computer because both DH and I are in graduate programs.  We LOVE our Mac, so I definitely do not regret it!!
