He started STTN around 8 weeks old. Of course he hasn't STTN every.single.night since then...but for the most part he sleeps from 8:30pm-8am (on weekends, and 7am on weekdays since we wake him up to leave).
Other. Both boys started STTN at 4.5m and slept GREAT until 19m. (They'd have "off" days and weeks for naptime sometimes but overall were good nappers and almost never woke up during the night.) Then at 19m they got a stomach bug and after that we stated having occasional sleep issues.
Then after Alex was hospitalized at 22m he started waking up anywhere from 1 to 10 times a night; he seems to be having nightmares, though since it's been a couple months now I think by now it's part fear and part habit. Sometimes he'll be awake 1-2 hrs at a time.
ETA: Not to discourage anyone but when we told our pedi what's been happening with Alex (at the boys' 2-year checkup) she said nightmares and other sleep issues are very common from ages 2-3. We had no idea. We thought those were behind us. Silly us. :P
Mine started STTN (8 p.m.- 7 a.m.) at around 6 mos. when we did Ferber. However, he's had many nights since then that he's woken once/several times per night due (I think) to teething. He'll generally go right back down after a few minutes of butt pats.
At around 6-7 months when we began sleep training DD has typically gone to bed around 7:30 and wake between 4:30-6:30 to nurse and back down until 7/8 a.m. There are those times, whether it's teething or what ever else where she'll wake up once usually between midnight-3. But for the most part she does sleep a good 8-9 hours before waking.
ugh! DD STTN since 4 mo... DS on the other hand refuses!
I did Ferber with both of them around 4 to 6 mo. worked wonders for DD and has even made bedtime a dream.
They put themselves to sleep at bedtime but during the night DS wakes 1 to 2 times on average if not more. I know i posted the other day that maybe he has apnea. I called the pedi late today so im waiting to hear what he thinks. I just get the gut feeling its something else. But i wanted to see how many LOs are in fact STTN.
She's been STTN most of the time since she was 6.5 weeks old. Yes, I know, sorry. Like, right after the 6-week growth spurth.
However, she wakes up at night about one night out of every three. And when she does wake up, half the time she goes right back to sleep. The other half the time, she either takes hours to go back to sleep or will not go back to sleep for the rest of the night.
Since about 6 months. Back then it was about 9pm till 5 am since I breastfed. Now it's 8pm till 8am usually. She stopped breastfeeding about 9.5 months.
DD1 however....at 9 months she was still waking every 2 hours. At 15 months, she FINALLY started somewhat consistently STTN, but still now she's up 1-2xs a night a couple times a week. There's always something: whether it's a million ear infections (last winter) or teething, or nightmares, separation anxiety...

DS started STTN around 11 months. He has had a few nights where he would wake up, I think, due to teething. Also, if we are traveling or staying somewhere else he wakes at least once a night.

I'd say he started sleeping through the night consistently around 9 months. That said, he still has little phases when he's teething or sick that he doesn't go down and stay down for the night. For the last week he's been waking around 4am and coming to bed with us until he wakes at 6:30ish. Last night he slept 8pm to 7am solid though, so we're hoping he's back on track.
STTN (7:30 pm-8ish am) since about 8 months, we did a little sleep training and I weaned from breastfeeding at that time and it all just came together very nicely.
Ds- Didn't STTN until 17 months and then stopped around 22 months. Wakes nightly to come in our room and cries from nightmares.
Dd- STTN for the first time at 7 weeks (did it 2 days in a row). Then went quickly to once a night with the exception of 4 month wakeful she is getting out of.

STTN since 17 months. And I have been doing a happy dance since then.
Our sleep training consisted of co-sleeping until 16 months old when she transitioned herself to a crib.
