I have heard form many people, including our staff nutritionist who recommend not using a cleanse because they can cause ulcerative colitis which can cause damage to your intestines, or kill you.
I hear food poisoning works great. Or a tape worm.
Or, you know, actually eating well and exercising.
This. It took you a long time to put that weight on. It's not going to come off overnight. Sorry. A good first step would be to meet with a dietician who can help you plan your weight loss safely. These fad cleanses sound great, but the weight loss isn't permanent and it can actually screw up your metabolism long term.
I've done the Master Cleanse 3 times. And I wouldn't recommend it. Each time I thought I'd keep the weight off, but it all came right back on. Even if I was careful with my eating. Yeah, I felt great for the 10 days, but it was hard, and then I was back to square one. I'd recommend focusing on better nutrition and putting together a plan that you can actually maintain.

Not everyone can afford a dietician. Just eat healthy, walk around the block,or park, and i have about 20lbs to lose and I bought the Golds Gym belly band(similar to belly bandit) but it adjusts to different weights and helps you sweat off the belly weight. plus only costs like $5. Ive been wearing it daily and lost 10lbs in a month. all in all though you did take 9 months to put it on so give 9 months for it to come off.
Re: Is there a cleanse that you recommend? Want to lose about 20 pounds ASAP.
