1. How old are you and your DH or signifant other? I'll be 32 in Feb, DH is 39
2. What was the last vacation your DH and you took together? We've taken time off together, but our last real vacation was Estes Park for our anniversary like 5-yrs ago.
3. What fun things are everyone doing this weekend? Hmmm. . . getting a bunch of b/w done. I don't know what else yet.
4. What is your favorite color? Blue
5. How long have you been with your DH or significant other? Our first date was 12/26/98, so 12-yrs.
6. How did you meet your DH or significant other? He use to work with my mom when he was in college. I was 16 when we originally met, almost 19 when we started dating.
7. How did he propose? We went to watch fireworks for the 4th of July. We had talked about getting married before. We're sitting on a dock, watching the sun go down. He said "it's really beautiful here, isn't it". I said yes, then he says "would you marry me here"? I said ofcourse, it's beautiful. He said, "no really, would you marry me" & pulled the ring out of his pocket. He was shaking so hard I had to take the ring box from him so he wouldn't drop it into the bayou.

7. How did he propose? In his pjs in the dining room on 5/14/06. Nothing romantic, except he burst into tears after asking me because he was petrified.

7. How did he propose? We were on our way to his family reunion where I'd be meeting a lot of his extended family for the first time. We stopped on the shore of our favorite lake to let our dog do his thing (or so he told me). While we were walking he dropped to one knee, pulled out the ring, and proposed. He said he wanted to be able to be able to introduce me as his fiance. :-)

7. How did he propose? We were visiting my home town, and he took me to dinner at my favorite restaurant. He looked a little green by the end of dinner and I thought he was getting food poisoning. Turns out it was just nerves. I didn't say "yes" right away. I said "Are you sure?" My mom said the same thing to him when we told her the next day. Thanks, mom.

2. What was the last vacation your DH and you took together? We went to Savannah, GA three days after my miscarriage. We already had the trip planned before the bfp, but it was great to get away at that particular time.
3. What fun things is everyone doing this weekend? Eh...making a Trader Joe's run tonight, helping family tomorrow and maybe going to the International Car Show

6. How did you meet your DH or significant other? When we were in college I worked at the YMCA. When I came back from a vacation, he was there and it was happily ever after!
7. How did he propose? I had a ring I always wore on my left hand and he always tried to take it off of me. I told him I wouldn't take it off until he replaced it with something else. When we were on vacation at the beach, he took me down to the ocean to watch the sunrise. While we were watching the sun come up, he took my ring off and opened a ring box on one knee. I don't remember what he said, but I was in complete denial.

During 'our song' he got out the ring and asked me to marry him. It was crazy because so many people were around but it was such a private moment between us like no one else was around - not sure anyone else even noticed, just thought I was a crazy lady crying!
