Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Did anyone ever actually finish the 30 day shred?

I remember back on the babies boards people were starting it up like crazy.  I just did day 1 (I know, I'm about 8 months behind on losing this baby weight), and I can't even imagine doing it every day for a month.  1. It's farking hard and 2. I can see myself getting bored.

But hey, at least I made it through.  I'll feel proud of myself until JennnieSchretrar comes in and tells me how fat and awful I am.

  • what is the 30 day shred?

  • Back in November I started it and got to day 6 and then got a horrible cold and never started up again. Maybe I should start back up this weekend and see if I can get through it. I really want to! I've never done level 2 or 3.
  • I did, though I didn't like the idea of working out 7 days a week so I did it 5-6 days a week for 6 weeks. It really made a difference for me! I didn't get too bored since about every 2 weeks I moved up a level.

It is a Jillian Michaels workout DVD.

  • Yes and it kicked my butt!  At the end it was much easier than in the beginning  but it is a good way to jump start you back onto track, at least that is what I used it for.

Yeah, I had the DVD sitting in a drawer from when I bought it when Norah was like 6 weeks old, and I just decided to pull it out and give it a shot.  I'm already scared of the next two levels!

Oh, thanks for sharing!  I figure if I can hear some success stories it will motivate me to keep doing it.

After the first day I remember being really sore. The second and third days were still hard, but much easier than the first. 4-6 was just a good workout. I think it is designed to get easier as you go, but then hard again when you start a new level.

  • I am currently on Day 10 and am doing it with my DH every day.  We figured we can do anything for 20 minutes for 30 days.. It is super hard but me are motivating each other to get through it even when we don't want to !!  We find ourselves laughing because we are so tired or we can barely do the moves!
  • I did once with great results.  I've been trying to again since but haven't been successful.
