Ladies, I've got a laundry question for you. I don't have all my CDs yet, but I'm planning to get assorted colors (bright and light) and white diapers, plus I've got different colors of wipes and wetbags. I know I don't need to pull apart the pockets or separate the wipes for cleaning purposes but what about separating the colors? Should I be doing a load of bright/dark diapers and a load of light/white diapers? Since I'll be washing them in hot water are my colors going to run?
I'm really hoping I can just dump everything in together!
If it matters, the majority of my stash will be BG 4.0 pockets.
THANKS!!!

Re: Laundry question - do you separate by color?
Thank you! I was hoping that was the answer.

What do you mean by this? I'm only asking because it looks like you're new to cloth diapering and I dont' want you misinformed. You should be pulling the inserts out of the pocket dipes unless the dipes are Thirsties or other brands that have openings on both ends. Personally, I even take the inserts out of my Thirsties.
I don't separate. White diapers tend to get dingy as a result. I typically don't buy white diapers, for that reason.
I do pull apart my pockets, though. I use mostly BG, and the inserts don't agitate out. If someone forgets to pull an insert out and I find a diaper with an insert in it after washing, I re-wash it. But I do wash inserts and pockets together.
