hang or tumble dry?

i have another laundry question....it's obvious what i'm doing this week Indifferent anyways, i hang dry just about damn near everything with the exception of socks, linens and bath towels. wondering if i should hang dry baby clothes as well. what are you doing? i haven't snipped labels yet so perhaps they say pre-shrunk on them?

I hang dry a LOT of my laundry as well, but it's too much of a hassle to think of hanging all of those baby clothes. Unless they specifically say to hang them (I only really have onesies, leggings and PJs at this point so I doubt anything says that), I'm throwing them in the dryer. I think I'm about to enter a new era of laundry -- as in doing it every other day vs once a week, so I want to minimize the effort I have to put into it.

I hang dry all of my shirts and undies/bras, everything else gets put in their dryer. I plan on just drying all of baby's clothes in the dryer (less work!).

I dried everything unless it specifically said hang dry (a couple of sweaters, winter buntings, etc. -- maybe a half dozen items total). We have a ton of clothes and some of them are hand-me-downs so I figured all those had already been dried anyway. I did dry everything on low heat and didn't use dryer sheets.

Some of the onesies especially did shrink up but they looked really big before and seem like they needed to shrink some.

I dry almost all baby clothes on delicate and I've never had too much trouble with shrinking. Sometimes I'll hang special outfits or sweaters but for things like sleepers and onesies they will be going through them so fast you won't care about keeping them in mint condition!

Like everyone else who responded, I would say tumble dry everything on low/delicate setting. If something's going to shrink, it might as well shrink. I'll be doing waaaaaay too much baby laundry to worry about hang drying all these little outfits!

thanks for the input, ladies....you're right, i don't want to get into the habit of hang drying onsies and such....i'll stick with just the "nicer", delicate pieces.

I hang dry everything, but only because we don't have a dryer! We're in an apartment and have a portable washer...so everything is hung. I would dry most things on low if we had the option.
