So the post below got me curious, since E has started to seem snug in his Britax bucket, and bleep bleep it, he has about maxed it out.
AND they advertised it as fitting bigger kids. Bleep.
But when you go to this new FIT MY CHILD section of their site, although he is under all the measurements I checked before I bought the bleeping thing, they have added this new "seated shoulder height" and yep. My long torsoed child is at capacity.
Bleep.
Who has carseats on sale right now?
Re: Curseword re: Convertable Carseat
Lol! That stinks. I'm not sure who has them on sale right now, we need another one for Jason's car. We usually just take my car, but she just grew out of the infant seat we used for his in emergency situations. I was looking into the Graco My Ride 65 from walmart for $120--free shipping to the store. We have the Sunshine Kids Radian for my car, but that sucker was over $200. I think a cheaper one will be okay for the secondary car.
Ok, sorry for the bleeping rambling.
That sucks! We bought the Chicco infant seat that has the 30 lb weight limit and the 30 inch height limit. We had primarily switched to the convertible seat because she screamed in the car everwhere we went, but lately she's been doing ok with the infant seat. It's definitely heavy but it's been so nice to carry her into stores and not worry about freezing my a%& off while I buckle her in. She's 28 1/4 inches though...so we'll see how much longer she fits.
I was also debating on the Graco 35 when we were trying to decide. It's funny because I see people on the bump tell other bumpies not to get the higher weight limit seats. Can you imagine how long ago you would have had to switch if you currently have a higher weight/height limit seat??
There have been several places having sales. I don't know if these are still good, but here's a few ideas.

Also, check amazon. I think they were having a sale recently too (on britax seats, I believe).
Bless you! Thanks for the links. I'll be checking them out (and writing a big fat unplanned check for a carseat sooner than later, GRRRR). Ok, it's really a debit card, but still.
I would NOT be so angry if I hadn't researched my tail off last year looking for the perfect seat for my big babies. This new "secret" measurement of seat to shoulder makes so much sense now. Wish they had posted it when I was reading every nit picky detail about the seat last year. NO WONDER it's like I need a shoehorn to get the straps over his shoulders!
lol! I'll let you know if I come across anything else. I know some places still have the older model Britax seats for cheap. I know that the Buy Buy Baby store in Greenwood still have a couple when I was there on monday.
I got this infant carseat from Kohls and love it. Kailey is still fitting at 13 months+ and it fits in the snap and go.

Looks like some of the convertable ones are on sale. They done have Britax so I dont know if that is a must for you or not. I had a 30% coupon code for Kohls if you need it I can ask my aunt for it again.
I just got the safety first one from costco because it got good reviews and can grow with her for some time. We used it on Vacation and she seemed to like it. She seems so small it so lots of room to grow. I still had her rear facing and her legs were just fine.
