any midwife friendly Ob's in the Oceanside/San Diego area?

I have been researching my little booty off to try to find someone, anyone who will write us a referral to a midwife.

Unfortunately it's the only way our insurance (Blue Shield) will cover it. So, if you ladies know of anyone, let me know. I will be forever and ever grateful! Thank you!

    There are two midwives who practice with my OB at Scripps Carmel Valley. I met with one after I had my baby, and I really liked her but I can't remember her name. Check out the Scripps clinic in Carmel Valley. My OB is Dr. Jonathan Dunn. I have had a great experience with him and his staff.

    if you are willing to drive south to La Jolla or Hillcrest, check out UCSD Midwives.  they are awesome! aand UCSD has a fantastic Birth Center in the hospital.
