what to do w/gift bags from showers?

We were very blessed to have several showers thrown for us. I have a ton of baby gift bags that I don't know what to do with. Of course I will save some to re-use, but I can't possible re-use as many as I have. I don't want to store them. Can I donate them or something?

I would list them free on craigslist someone will store them and get use out of them, this is why I never take a regualr gift bag anymore I do a reuseable dag or basket

I carry my lunch in the small sizes. They last a week or two before they're ready to be retired.

I wonder if a second hand children's store would accept them.

I kept a few to re-use and then chose my favorites and cut them out to use as background paper in my scrapbook of the baby shower. They were so pretty I didnt want to just throw them away, and I think its neat that you can see them in the pics that I layered on top of the cutouts in my scrapbook.

I kept all the ones in good shape and 4 years later I am just about out of them! I hate spending $ on those types of things, so they were worth saving..it was amazing how many I ended up going through so quickly

I thought I would never re use all of my bags, but 2.5 years later, I only have a few left- I would save them!

I keep whatever is in good shape. Slight pain to store but theyare expensive, and I always need them!

I keep all that stuff to re-use. My SIL and I joke because we keep passing the same bags back and forth.

thanks! I hate wasting anything and the bags were so cute! Plus I got more than a few duplicates so I was able to cut some up for my scrapbook as well as saving some for re-use!

i used a few of mine for my kids scrapbooks...it was a lot cheaper than buying scrapbooking paper...but if you dont want to do that i would post them on craigs list

I saved all of the ones that were worth saving. In fact, the gift that DH's aunt gave us was in a bag she got at HER shower...15 years ago. A little excessive, but if you've got the room to store them I would. If not, you can probably give them away on Craigslist.

Uh, garbage? I've been emptying them and tossing them immediately. I don't know a single pregnant person and my house is too small to save clutter that I may or may not reuse. I love the idea of using them for scrapbooking, though!

Give away or trade them w/ friends. I used to have a HUGE stash of Christmas bags and turned out my sister had way too many birthday bags. Now we're both a little more even!
