Cutting to the chase - gestational sac, yolk sac, embryo/fetus, and hb of ~120! Measured at 6w2d. If you count the day we did the deed as O, I would be 6w4d, so I probably just ovulated a couple days after that. So it's totally consistent and on track.
I am SHOCKED. Really - I'm stunned. They drew a bunch of blood work and when it comes back, I'll set up an appointment with the genetic counselor to talk about prenatal screening. Given my age (36) and history of presumptive egg quality problems, we'll most certainly do the NT and integrated screening, but I want to ask whether we should consider CVS or amnio instead/in addition. If anyone has advice on that front, I'd be happy to hear it.
So for now, I'm knocked up. Due September 5.
And did I mention I'm shocked??
(ah - still no mention off the boards, please.)

Re: Ultrasound update
Wahooo!! Looks like we're in this together again! Nearly identical heart rates and measurements, too!
So very happy for you!
Congrats! I'm glad everything looks good.
You, emmy and my SIL are all due at the same time.
YAY!!! Wonderful news!
Here's what my OB counsels on the screening/testing issue. She says if you are NOT willing to do a CVS or amnio then there is no need to do the NT scan, which would only serve to cause you potentially unnecessary anxiety of something showed up on the screening. I personally would not do the amnio or CVS if my NT scans came back clean (which they both did), given the risk, although it's small.
Yay! Great news and very exciting. September babies are pretty great!
Stella was born on the 4th and Hadley on the 6th. Maybe your kiddo will share a b-day with one of my girls!
No advice on the CVS or amnio, but I'm sure others have good info.
Wow! Congratulations!!
Good luck with all of the testing and screening. Penny was born Sept. 3rd. Super pregnant in the middle of summer for you:)
This is wonderful!!!
I am so, so happy for you!!
goosebumps!! Love it. I'm telling you, your eggies all got bathed in some kind of lovely, post-pregnancy, beginning to "wean" from bf'ing as baby starts eating more solids, time for another one hormonal cocktail of healthfulness. Full speed ahead miracle mama!

We did an NT scan the first (and only) time around and not the CVS. It's interesting though because two of my friends from college automatically did the CVS with their pregnancies. While I know there are risks, if I were to get pregnant again, I would have a CVS. I guess I'm just of the opinion that I like information and more of it.
And congratulations! This is so exciting for you.

Congrats Elizabeth! Totally awesome news!
Because I am a worrier, I always have had the NT scans and blood work. I actually just had mine yesterday and was glad to see things progressing nicely from my last u/s at 7 weeks. I think only do the CVS or Amnio if the NT results come back high on both the blood work and neck fold.
Enjoy your miracle!!
Great news! So happy for you!!
Amazing, congratulations
i would do lots of exclamation points but my phone wont let me.
Woo-freakin-hoooooo!!!!!!
We are about the the same age ( I am a few months older)- so I was about a year younger than we are now when I get pg with D. I also think I have some egg quality issues as even though I had gotten pg before D, I also miscarried. ( we had all the testing done, RPL, karyotyping, etc.) Everything came back normal, so I am left to assume most of my eggs just suck.
Here is what we did ( and what our plan was):
We did the NT.
If that and the bloodwork came back with a number we were uncomfortable with, we were going to do the CVS testing. Amnio if necessary. Luckily, we needed to go no further than the NT
This is SOOOOO exciting!
Congrats on the great u/s! I'm so happy for you
YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! What an awesome Day for you ! September is a great month for babies to be born:)
