I am with you on the 2 hour delay! Our roads havent been touched and the majority of the roads traveled by buses are back roads. So I guess I'll make it down the big hill and then up the next one just fine according to the DOT. :-/ Ugh...
This is our first delay/ closing this year! I wanted a nice Wednesday off!
Driving all the to work and being called as I pull in the parking garge and being told they are closing. I was the only one they asked to come in earlier then my regular shift and then they call my 10 minutes before the start of my shift and say don't bother. I WAS OBVIOUSLY already there. Well half a tank of gas and 2 and a half hours later I am home.

The fact that parents, school bus drivers, kids, etc have the damn day off, but all 12 month employees have to haul their a$$es in 2 hours late. WTF.
I plan on working from home (just work for an organization that closes according to the district).
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
A certain person that wants to be my "friend" just because I'm pregnant. If you couldn't muster the time to hang out with me over the entire past year, why can you now?
I am annoyed because I dragged by butt into work today and there is practically no one here...NOT FAIR, I say! NYC is really not that bad. Surprisingly Bloomberg actually did a pretty decent job at clearing the snow.
I'm with SarahP! I live in Chicago. This tax increase is a bunch of crap!!! I also live in the highest sales tax county! I love love my city, but dang it, it's becoming really hard to afford it!

People that can't drive in snow. When there are flurries there is no reason to drive 5 mph. However, when its snowing enough to get all the schools out early, talking on your cell phone and tailgating is not acceptable. (Actually its not a great idea whatever the weather). Figure it out, this is OHIO people.

That all the news stations have to talk about the snow storm that just passed like it's never happened before!! We just had 3 storms in the past 3 weeks. We live in the northeast people, it snows!!! Why are you out interviewing people about this?!?! You are cutting into my Maury Povich time! Also, why do people shop like they're gonna die when we get a storm? People, snow has never happened before?!?!

You know what chaps my ass?? 3 grown ass men standing around a piranha tank (for a half hour) watching the piranhas devour little fish that were caught on an ice-fishing excursion last weekend.
THERE IS WORK TO BE DONE, A-HOLES. GET TO IT! OH AND BTW, GROW UP!

When people obviously know they are sick but still insist on going places where there are other people around. For example: Church, Work, Restaurants, grocery stores etc. And then they want to know why people are glaring at them while they are blowing their nose and talking like they have a hamster in their throat.

You remind me of Nicholas Cage in The Rock with this one.
What do you say we cut the chit-chat, a-hole? (yes, he says a-hole, not the full word).
This thread is just perfect for me today! My hubby finally decided he wanted to take a pre-baby vacation. To make it even better he wanted to take a short Caribbean cruise which I've wanted to do for ages. While looking for a packing list I find out that nearly all cruise lines won't take pregnant women at or after 24 weeks! Meaning no cruise for us. WTF!
People who arent big enough to admit when their wrong... Ugh!~ When your wrong its not a big deal... but dont argue even after facts are placed in front of you... Annoying...
What chaps my ass is grown men with a family who get laid off from a job and finds it perfectly acceptable to sit around playing video games while our tax dollars go to his housing and feeding him. Not only letting the goverment pay for all his necessities, but collecting money for unemployement (which is not that much) and thinking that's a fine way to live as long as he's got his video games. Um grow up please! Yes, I know someone who is doing this and no it's not my DH, I would kick his arse and tell him to find a damn job. It just chaps my ass because it's so childish, and not something a 30 year old man with a family should do IMO.

Ugh I HATE this!! People even come sick to the OB/Perinatal office and it really annoys me.

People are like that here in Florida too, God forbid it starts sprinkling rain everyone freaks out and drives with their hazards on... also a major issue with cell phones here txting and talking.

Are there labor laws in your state that prevent this? Here, if you make it into work they are required to pay you 4 hours of time.
What chaps my ass today is that I cannot buy my first pair of maternity pants without either driving at least 40 minutes away or buying online and hoping they fit. My regular jeans were working up until this week. I can still wear them with a hair elastic but the zipper is becoming a problem. If I am not careful, the zipper ends up opening up as I walk/move around. I can't keep wearing my flannel pajama pants out. And even driving 40 minutes to find pants is no guarantee because unless I can squeeze my ass into the regular sizes, it appears that I may be out of luck because no store seems to sell plus size anywhere near here!
I just can't believe that no store here has maternity clothes at all. I mean I know that we are a relatively small city but still, we should have at least one store! Stupid Walmart for doing away with their in store maternity section!
Coming home from a long day at work + errands to discover that the water in the house has been turned off because the pipe the feeds the entire neighborhood with precious water had burst. Then it took 3 hours longer than quoted to fix the pipe. I'm glad we have water now, but I really hate how my hands feel after using hand sanitizer... they just don't feel clean, ya know?
ALSO, the transmission fluid in my car is leaking, YAY! Another bill for me!
On a positive note, I finally reorganized my room It feels good to have that giant pile of mail organized and filed away.

The fact that IL overspends and now expects taxpayers to pay for the problem. 66% new tax increase. A$$holes.

This! And the fact that I have to schlep to work in a ton of snow while half the damn country has a snow day.
That's pretty disturbing.
oh i'd be soooo pissed!
