We got 4 inches on Monday and Atlanta is still shut down. I am on my 3rd day of climbing the walls at home. It wouldn't be so bad if we weren't stuck.
Dh risked life and limb yesterday to go get some wine. We needed it.

Sorry you are stuck inside still. Sometimes I wish 4 inches would shut down the city....it does suck being completely snowed in like that though...we had a few days like that last winter.

I'm the only person in my office today. Apparently getting up and going to work was an epic waste of time. However, 5 inches wasn't really enough for me to call it a "snow day" without my boss questioning my sanity. SIGH.

We got about 3 inches too, Kathy. The college I work for closed down all of one hour early yesterday - gee, thanks. How generous. And by the time we left the roads weren't even bad (though this morning they weren't great).

I know I'd probably be complaining about a blizzard too (and the silver lining of our lamesauce snowfall is that we aren't trapped indoors with only our spouses to amuse us
).
Kathy, was there more snow where you live than in Alex? Did you have trouble driving in? I take metro into DC, so I didn't have any trouble (just the usual rude passengers, delayed trains, etc., but no one was killed on this AM's commute, so I'll take it!).
