Names we like so far, opinions please !

SINCE MY CLICKY POLL WILL NOT WORK, I JUST COPIED IT Big Smile

We have not found out the sex of LO yet but we will be in the next couple of weeks, please give me your honest opinions of the names we have marked that we like so far.

Boys MN- Chad

Girls MN- Kay ( not set in stone)

  • McCartni (girl)
  • Grady (boy)
  • Cooper (boy)
  • Beckett (boy)
  • Presley (girl)
  • Reagan (girl)
  • Maci (girl)

    Cooper was on my short list of boys, but just decided against.  I still really like it.

    Everyone is naming their girls "Reagan" so I vote no.

    Maci is very pretty, but can you spell it Macy?  or Macie? 

    Presley is also cute.

    I replied on your XP, but I'd like to reiterate that the surname for first name trend is WAY trendy, and I couldn't imagine an adult woman named McKinely or McCartni. McCartni isn't even spelled correctly.

    I absolutely loathe almost all "Mc--" names. McCartni or however you spelled it is especially horrendous.I like Maci (but much prefer it spelled Macie or Macy), Reagan and really like Grady and Beckett.

    Reagan is the name of the little possessed girl in the Exorcist. I wouldn't be able to get past it (the movie still scares me to sleeping with the lights on). I like Beckett. My cousin is Macey and doesn't seem too cutesy as she's moved on to high school this year. McCartni is very, very odd.

    I like Presley and Maci best for the girls and Beckett for a boy.

     

    You need to think about this:  Will they be teased in school?  Can I picture this name on a: doctor? lawyer? adult? teenager? grandparents? etc.

     

    Congrats on your little bundle of joy!
