I'm wanting to sell DS's crib bedding. It's PBK's ... just a bumper and quilt. The bumper was only in the crib for like 2 months, and the quilt has YET to be used ... so they're both 'like new' (a HUGE reason why I'm not doing any type of bedding set this time around). The print is obviously discontinued at this point, but here is a picture :

What would you start the bidding at? I'd like to just do a 'Buy it now' at like $49.99 or something ... do you think that's too much? Not enough? I have only sold one thing on eBay and it was YEARS ago ... so I have no clue.
TIA!
Re: Who sells stuff on eBay?
do you have an ebay account? if so you can type in your bedding style and then on the left hand side there is an option to select completed listings and you can see what other auctions selling the smae thing sold for to give you and idea of what to start the bidding at or the "buy it now" price.
I would search Ebay to see if there are any of the same bedding sets already on Ebay. Check to see what prices those are going by.
You can do a "Buy Now" price, but you can also set a reserve price. If the highest bid is less than your reserve price, then the set doesn't get sold. Set your reserve for the lowest amount you would take for it.
Ebay has free classifieds too that you can post in that are a bit more reliable than craigslist.
I've been trying to sell my Brandee Danielle set now for months like yours its all pretty much brand new and I haven't even been able to sell the entire set with wall decor and other items for $40.
Oh I'm not trying to make a profit. The bumper alone was originally $90 ... so I thought the set at like 50% off was a good deal. I've already checked, there are no other listings for this set (or any of the other colors it came in) on there right now.

I think you may have better chance if you post it on the trash to treasuer board here. I think if your happy with $50 then post it on ebay buy it now and see what happens. You never know who is looking for THAT set.
