Is there a difference between an ounce and a fluid ounce?

I just noticed something odd. I got a cup of hot cocoa, it's a 12oz cup. I notice on my water bottle that it says it's .5l/1pt/0.9fl oz. The size of my water bottle almost fills up the 12 oz cup. Confused

Nevermind, it's .5L/1pt, 0.9 fl oz - it's two different measurments, not three.
