I was just wondering if anyone LO is walking or close to walking?
A friend of mine's LO walked pretty early- though I can't remember at what age- it was definately a few months before a year. What age do babies ussually walk at?
My LO seems way more interested in trying to walk than crawl- is this normal?
Re: Anyone's LO walking?
my daughter has been cruising the furniture for about a month now. She is still working on her balance, but lately she has been letting go and trying to take steps on her own. She still crawls everywhere (and she is getting faster every day) but is definitely more interested in figuring out the walking thing.
My best friend's son did not start to cruise the furniture until he was about 10 months old, and didn't start walking until about a year old. Each baby is different. I certainly thought I would have more time until she started trying to walk.
Um no on this end, DS is just sitting up independently!
Development is variable but there is definitely parents that think their LO is standing or walking and most of the time its a supporting reflex (long term for pressure placed to foot, the leg will extend). I work with kiddos and see the gambit of developmental ages- some are 10 month walkers and some aren't until 18 months...it all depends. My LO is in PT for torticollis and some developmental delays and is just now working on weightbearing through his legs so I am just being patient....
