repeat c/s moms

in 3rd Trimester

Did your dr. tell you anything if you start getting contractions, etc?  I have been having bad backpain and cramps with some braxton hicks all day.  I know I am not really in labor/ labor but I don't really know whats going on.  Nothing is timeable but laying down and water is not helping.  Just curious what thoughts are on this....If I was having a normal delivery i wanted think much of it at this point.

    After 35 weeks they told me they wouldn't stop my labor, so if I was having timeable, painful contractions (i.e. in labor) then to go to l&d and they perform the c/section then.

    My doctor said he had no problems with me wanting to go into labor on my own before my c/s but I was not allowed to dilly dally at home and to call them.  But I'm on baby three, so I think he has some concerns about baby coming faster.  I will tell you I went into labor with DD before my scheduled c/s and those contractions started to come fast!

    all he said was "if you go into labor before your scheduled surgery, we'll just take her then".  i know, helpful right?

    Exact same with me.  This is my 3rd c/s and I am super crampy and sore.  I worry that he'll come on his own (I have never experienced labor) and we'll have to rush to the hospital.  No internals, no sonograms, just wait.  It stinks!
