Anyone have a Bumbleride Indie Twin double stroller?

I may end up splurging on this one item because I need a jogging stroller and an everyday stroller and this can be used as both. If I bought them separate it would be close to the same price. I am just wondering how the infant carrier snaps in. It doesn't show it anywhere. If you could PIP that would be awesome! How do you like it? Pros/cons? TIA!

  • I believe there is an attachment to snap an infant seat it. If you've got $700 in your back pocket for a stroller totally get it! I dream of the orange one... But will never get it since it cost too much for me. Sigh.

  • I do. I LOVE it. What carrier do you have? I have a Chicco and the universal adaptor and it works fine. I think they've come out with one that is specific to the Chicco since I got my stroller, though.

The one thing I've heard is that it might not be the best if you're a serious runner, but it works fine for when I was just jogging. Its not technically a jogging stroller, but a lot of people use it that way. Its a seriously awesome stroller.

We have a Graco Snugride car seat and it says it is compatible but I just wish I could see how it snaps in. Is it not too heavy? If we use a BRU 20% off coupon it would be $550 but not sure if it's worth it. The other option was to get a Graco Quattro Double and then a Schwinn or less expensive jogging stroller and between the two it would cost about the same as the Bumbleride, but not sure which way would be better. I just do mostly walking and light jogging outdoors. I have 2 strollers now and it is nice to leave one in the car and one in the house and not have to go get it out of the car when I want to jog but the quality is not very good on the jogger.

  • We already have a single Bumbleride stroller (Flyer) and we will be getting the Bumbleride Indie Twin before baby #2 arrives. You can frequently find them used on kijiji or craigslist (we got our Bumbleride Flyer that way). I know the 2010 model Indie Twin has baby bumper bars that double as universal adapters for the car seat, no need to buy an adapter bar. The older models came with car seat adapter bars, but you had to remove the bumper bar and put the adapter bar in it's place. We used the adapter for our Flyer with a Graco Snugride 35 seat. Worked really well and the canopy came right down to cover it nicely in rainy weather. I'd recommend Bumbleride strollers to everyone I know!

  • You'd better make sure you can use your 20% off coupon for Bumbleride strollers, I thought they were exempt from the coupons.  I really want the Bumbleride Indie too!
