Can I wear jeans to my neighborhood shower?

It's today at 11, the ground is still covered in snow, and I'm just not feeling anything fancy... Would it be bad to wear jeans and a nice top? I feel all judgy when people wear jeans to showers, and now I just want to do it too. Embarrassed

I was one of 2 people wearing jeans at my shower last weekend and totally didn't care. It was that or I was wearing my pajamas!

My BIG shower is today and I've never once considered wearing anything other than jeans. I'm an "all about comfort" girl though.

I'm thankful that was my plan because the snow is really coming down here too!

I think it depends on what perception you gave the guests (e.g. what was the invite like, etc)? People won't judge if you do wear jeans....but I definitely wore a dress...and all my guests dressed up as well. Don't worry about it though--just have fun!

Lol. I have a hard time getting myself to put on anything other than yoga pants! I think jeans are just fine. You are pregnant and comfort is important and it's cold outside. People shouldn't judge for that and if they do, poo on them.

Plenty of people came to my shower in jeans. It was at a restaurant, too. I didn't look at them and think 'Why are they in jeans??' I came in jeans, but it was a surprise, and they did a very good job masking when the real date was and coming up with an awesome ploy. They made me think the shower was the weekend after it really was lol.

I may very well wear jeans to my shower today, but that is because the baby has recently grown a lot and I don't think I fit into anything else, and I don't want to buy something new with only 4 weeks left. I am sure your guests will totally understand.

I think it's totally fine for you to wear jeans. I'm sure it will look nice. But for me, jeans have become so uncomfortable! I would much rather wear some loose-fitting pants and a top, but basically I live in my comfy pants from the second I get home from work

I was planning on wearing jeans to my shower but now they are feeling a bit to snug and the belly panel keeps rolling down...ugh! My shower is today too, so I just opted for black dress pants...but these aren't any ordinary they are super comfy! LOL! So that and a nice shirt. My showers going to be pretty laid back. I hope people don't get all fancy on me!

I am wearing jeans to my neighborhood shower, its coed so not a big deal. But for my church shower with family I have a cute sweater dress from Old Navy and leggings. Wear what ever you feel comfortable in!
