Allergic reaction to amoxicillin in LO?

Asher is allergic to milk protein, soy, and pretty much most food I have given. He is on amox for an ear infection and it looks like his eczema his flairing up. Anyone experience this? Of course I notice this on a Friday! If I call the after hours #, I am pretty sure they will send me to the ER tomorrow--and this is so not ER worthy!

    Yes. We had to switch from the white one to the pink.

    Is it day 3 of the antibiotic? A lot of kids get a rash on their torso (sometimes face and arms) on day 3 of a penicillin based antibiotic. It's not an allergic reaction and it doesn't generally happen again.

    That said, Ds is allergic to penicillin. He got horrible hives from head to toe. Even the pedi said it was the worst rash he's seen in years. It cleared right up with some benadryl though.
