How to wash CDs?

How do you wash your cloth diapers? Im new to this so I hope I am doing it right. I have BG 3 and 4.0s and am pulling out the inserts before i put them in the diaper pail because they dont seem to all agitate out. I put them in the washer on a rinse then a hot cycle, Im not sure if I should put them on another rinse cycle after or not theres already a rinse at the end of the hot cycle.

    I pull the inserts out.

    I do a cold rinse no detergent.  Hot wash with detergent.  Cold rinse no detergent.

    I do cold wash (because I can't just do a rinse) no detergent, hot wash/cold rinse with detergent and extra rinse. I would just to make sure you got all the detergent out but I'm super paranoid about this so I sometimes even add another short cold wash. I hate our washer...its a HE front load but from when the first came out and I don't have many options as far as adding more water or just doing a rinse.
