Pregnant after a Loss

CP: When did time start moving faster for you?

Yes, I understand the theory...time, relative, Enstein..blah blah.

But the question is, at what point in your PG did time start moving faster? We had some July 2010ers come to the July 2011 board and spout off about how QUICKLY their PG seemed to go. Sorry, I'm just not buying it yet. Time has crawled to a snail's pace ever since that +HPT.

Re: CP: When did time start moving faster for you?

  • My mom always told me I was her special child Wink

Some days I think to myself "holy cow, she's coming next month, where has the time gone?" and other times I think "February is never going to get here..."

    It varies.

    I married a ginger.

  • I think that time will start moving faster once we go to the dr. (my first appt is next thrusday) and make sure that everything is okay. But that probably wont be til after our anatomy scan, which is when we found out last time that the baby has T18.

  • I know it's still super early for me, but I'm guessing time will go pretty slowly until we have our take home baby. It's hard when you know how many things can go wrong even in the second or third trimester. Sending sticky baby dust to us all!

  • Now that my appointments are every two weeks it feels like time is going faster.  I can't believe my LO will be here in just around 2 months.  We have so much work to do!!!

  • I have no idea when it happened. One day I was barely pregnant, and then all of a sudden I'm staring down the barrel of 3rd tri!

  • around 36 weeks things with DS started to become a blur. But we are SS because DH found out he was being tranferred to a different state when I was 36 weeks and then DS arrived at 38 weeks.

  • Good question. Sometimes I feel like time is dragging, other times I feel like it is starting to pick up a bit.

  • I suppose it has sped up a little bit, but it still feels super slow. My whole first tri was agony waiting for something bad to happen again (though weekly ultrasounds helped a little), and the second I thought I might be able to relax for a minute, we got a slightly abnormal NT measurement even though we had declined the test. So the 6 weeks between the NT and first level 2 was painfully slow. Once it was determined that she is probably healthy, things picked up a bit, but it still feels like time in craaaaaaawling. I think the main difference is that at this point, I'm only a 97% nervous-wreck, versus 100%.
