I'm looking for gift ideas for DDs first birthday. Between her and DS we have plenty of toys, so I'm not looking to get much. Any really brilliant gift ideas out there?! What are you getting/did you get your LO?
I'm wondering the same thing for DS. he received so many great gifts for Christmas that it's becoming tough to come up with a great bday gift. I'm thinking about one of those 'sit and spin' seats though.
I bought him a slide, but am thinking of also picking up some sneakers. I think he is becoming too much of a walker for his pedipeds so I've been looking at the Stride Rite "early walker" shoes because they have a flexible sole but it's thicker.
LO got so much for christmas too... we Rgetting him
a choo choo soul dvd/cd combo
new sneakers from stride rite
a few books
we will buy something for him to use outside in th spring/summer not sure what yet
as far as what people give...if they give money it will go in his savings and if they ask what to get i will tell them gift cards so i can buy him spring/summer clothes and maybe a few new bath toys
We are thinking of buying a car seat, rocking horse, clothes, and maybe like 1 or 2 toys (she got soooo many for christmas, it's crazy). Maybe a toy box or something of that sort also. I know that family will get her alot of stuff too so we don't wanna buy her too much.
Re: What Should I Get DD?
I'm going to get my DD an awesome pair of shoes. Ones with a hard sole for walking.
I'm not sure what to tell others to get her; she has so many toys and clothes.
ETA: how about adding to baby's savings account? I don't know if that's tacky, though?
