when your babies could hold them themselves did you switch to a different bottle? I push all the air out of them right now but i have to recap them to burp to keep the air out. What did you do when they were feeding themselves? Thanks!
Nope, we used them the whole time. You can just squeeze the nipple and push on the bag to squeeze the air out, without having to uncap it. Maybe I don't understand your question, hmm...
Although, I should mention, mine didn't start holding their own bottles until they were 11 months old, so there was no way I was going to change bottles at that point!
We stopped using the Playtex drop-ins once they started eating 8 oz. or more so I have nothing helpful to share. I just wanted to say "Wow!" Yours are already holding their own bottles? Amazing!
You know you don't have to squeeze the air out, right? The bottles are designed to work without squeezing it out. We used them with my older DD and never pushed the air out and she had no problems.
We just transitioned to milk and still use the drop ins because they are still working on 'perfecting' the sippy cup. I never sqeezed the air out and have never had a problem.
