anyone get pregnant on the first couple tries?

i know I'm 3rd trimester, I don't belong here Confused

But just wanted to know, did any of you get pregnant on the first few tries? My husband and I got pregnant on the very first try or two... very lucky and happy but I still feel so in shock, I can't get over it. It's still hard to believe at times

First try this time. With my two previous pregnancies (both m/c's) it was a first try and then an accident, in which I know the exact time. Apparently, I can get pregnant pretty easy. I hope it works out this time!!!

i had my iud removed in august, got prego in september. it was ectopic. was on hold until november. did it twice and got prego again. every time i have unprotected sex i get preggers. no charting or any of that jazz either. we're just very fertile!

We've gotten pregnant the first time everytime I've been pregnant. Staying pregnant is the challenge for me. Unfortunately, the jury is still out on this pregnancy.

I went off BC and we got pregnant the very first month. I've had a hard time believing it actually happened, so I'm very much looking forward to our first appt tomorrow. Praying that all goes well and that we continue to be blessed.

we were also very luck and got pregnant on first try with my daughter and now first time again with this baby.

it's also pretty crazy since i have pcos. so we were very psyched.

This is my 3^rd try. 1^st try was in May with Clomid, ending with an ectopic. 2^nd time was in October, chemical miscarriage, this time we weren?t on meds, it just happened. 3^rd time was the charm for us. Praying Baby stays healthy in there!

I also got pg with my first child on the 2nd month trying.

I feel very lucky & blessed as I expected it (esp this time) to take much longer.

We weren't trying. We had been using NFP successfully for almost a year and a couple bottles of wine and a steamy movie changed all that

We were pretty lucky. I went off BCPs about 8 months ago and we were just using condoms and we got pregnant.

my husband's doctor told him it would probly take 6 to 12 months, if not longer because he has verciolce. I guess the doctor was wrong, we feel very blessed!

We got it on the second cycle of trying. I was VERY surprised...I'm overweight and I have very irregular periods, and after reading others' struggles with PCOS and having VERY similar symptoms, I was worried that something would be wrong. But then, bam, BFP. I thought it would take a few months longer at least, so it was a pleasant surprise for us.

We actually tried for just 1 month also & i am still in shock also, I couldnt believe how fast it happened. I think I just figured because I was on the pill for over 10 years it would take me a little while, but I guess not!!!! Smile

My dad used to joke about my mom, "All she had to do was walk by and she was pregnant". I am the exact same way. My husband said when he returned home from work in December he wanted to get me pregnant for christmas.

I agree with this poster. Not to make drama, but what IS the point if you aren't even in your 1st tri? It took us 4 months, but I don't rub that in anyone's face, because I have friends that are dealing with IF and don't want to be a jerk.

1st time was 2 tries - ended in m/c

2nd time was 3 tries - ended with my daughter Jordan

3rd time was 4 tries - ended with ectopic and a removed tube

Now it has been 13 cycles and not pregnant with my take home baby - I am getting very disheartened. It sucks reading about all the "lucky" ones who got pg so easily.

So...you're 31 weeks pregnant, which means you're on the 3rd tri board where there are obviously plenty of pregnant women to ask this question to. So why are you HERE, asking it? Huh?

No, I wasn't "lucky"...it took me 7 months to conceive.

I would have to agree with the posters who are questioning why you would even ask this. It is like you are rubbing it in that you go pregnant so quickly.

Additionally, to all those who say they are "blessed" the implication is then that those of us who had trouble getting and/or staying pregnant are somehow not "blessed." Lucky is perhaps a better term.

I've been pregnant 4 times..2dc, 1 chemical pregnancy and then this pregnancy and everytime it was on the first try. My doctor said we should bottle that kind of fertility..My Dh is mad because he said we never got to "try" for very long..

I'm 21 and have been on birth control pills for the past 4 years if it makes a difference.

While I do agree it's odd that this was posted on 1st Tri, I don't think anyone who has been lucky or feels blessed by conceiving quickly means anyone any harm. I would never wish difficulties upon anyone and I'm so sorry that so many of you have had to go through them.

First month trying with us. We actually missed A LOT of days (we maybe only got in like 3 or 4 days of the whole 8-10 I had planned, so I was worried we missed our opportunity. But, nope, haha.
