Flippityflip....
Had my appt with my doc today about my postitive pregnancy test. It sucked. I was there for 3 hours getting tests done because my bp is high, hands and feet are swollen, I'm fainty and my vision is "sparlkly". So...now I'm getting referred to a different doc and hosptial and on strict bedrest. COOL!
I'm going for the most weeks spent on br in two consecutive year. Wonder if I'll get a pony for a prize....
BUT..I did get to eat some sour cream and onion baked Lays today, so it all kinda evens out! I LOVE me some chippies!

How far along are you, Mia? Bedrest already? Yikes.
(My favorite chips are any kind of kettle-cooked chip. Specifically, Cape Cod Sweet and Spicy Jalapeno. They taste like burning...in a good way.)
THAT'S one of the worst parts...I don't even know how far along I am. I spent so much time getting tests and having my bp monitored that the place they would have referred me to for the dating ultrasound was closed! I DON"T EVEN KNOW HOW FAR ALONG I AM! WTF?! My doc said that I'm no farther than 2-3 months along.
My H loves spicy jalapeno chips! I don't. :-)
Well, maybe you could move here! :-) NO, wait..you are in a much better place climate wise. We'll move there. Problem solved! Noww.....how to get that pony...

And get this Mama, my sodium levels were really low. How f'd up is that? My doc kept looking at me like maybe I was really a Martian under human skin. My bp reading was averaging: 122/87...which doesn't seem that high untill you know my normal bp never tops 90/60...it's usually more like 80-85/55
Check yours, check yours! I told the BP gods that your #'s were to high, so I'd take some!

Yep, that's weird. But you're weird, so I'm not surprised.
And yes, that's enough of a change in your BP to warrant some concern. Keep in mind, however, that you're miserable--when you're miserable sick, your BP goes up because your body is in distress. Sickness or pain = higher than normal blood pressure. Were they thinking your blurry vision and stuff was related to all of your puking? Possibly some effed up electrolytes or something? If you were farther along, obviously I'd be worried about pre-eclampsia, but from what I understand, they don't offically diagnose pre-eclampsia until 20 or more weeks.
All I know is you have to catch a break soon....right?
They cked my electrolytle levels and all my other levels...the only thing they think could be causing it right now is my BP...All my symptoms = bp problems, but who the eff knows. Like you said, I'm weird!
Actually, your lower sodium levels could make sense. Basically, you're swollen so you have extra fluid in your system. The sodium levels then become diluted because there's more fluid to mix in.
