What do people think of this name?

Our first choice is Emma Claire, but now DH and I are discussing Gemma Claire. It's pronounced like "Jem-ma".

I really like both but slightly prefer Emma. The downside to Emma is that it's insanely popular so it could be a toss up depending on how much popularity plays a part for you.

I really like it. One of my old boss's had a daughter named Gemma, and I think it's just lovely. A nice alternative to to Emma's unfortunate over-popularity.

LOVE it!!!!!!!!

It's on my long list, but DH doesn't care for it. Emma is lovely too, but the over-popularity kills that one for me.

I love Gemma! It's been high on my list for 6 or 7 years, I think it's really sweet. I much prefer Gemma to Emma.

Gemma is "eh" for me. I like Emma better. When I first heard it (a long time ago) I thought it was just someone trying to be different then the dozen or so Jenna's I knew.
