rough end to a great day (long)

Mady had an amazing birthday!  We had so much fun playing together all day, going to the SB Chocolate Cafe to play, and having my side over for her birthday party.

She seemed happy and fine all day.  She ate her mac & cheese for lunch fine, but only ate some bread and a few bites of steak for dinner.  She was in great spirits opening up her gifts from my parents and us and blowing out her candles.  When we gave her a slice of cake which she would normally love, she simply pushed it away and said that she was done...that should have been my clue.

My poor birthday girl got a stomach bug somehow and has been sick since 10.  We finally have her down for a little while.  It just breaks my heart to see her so scared of getting sick and especially on her birthday!

    Sounds like it was a great birthday!  So stinky about being sick, but I hope that it's run its course and is done now.

    Oh no.  Yay for a great birthday, boo for the stomach bug.  I hope it passes quickly and she's feeling better.

    Aww...Birthday sickies are the worst!! (SS got a stomach bug they day after his b-day last month) Sad    I hope Mady is better soon.

    Thankfully she is doing much better now and hasn't gotten sick in about 9 hours.  We go to her 2 year checkup later today at least so we'll be seen by the doctor, too.
