My DD is not even on the weight chart at this point. She's had a series of colds/ear infections since October, which have contributed to that issue, but the other major problem is that she simply won't eat. I don't know what to do with her. She puts food in her mouth, but she holds it there and then spits it back out or she gags on it and throws up. It's almost like she has some weird gag reflex, but I don't even know if that's possible. She hardly takes in any solid food during the day, whichi I an sure is contribuiting to her waking up and taking a bottle every 4 hours through the night. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with anything like this. I am so frustrated, but also very worried about her. TIA!

Re: My child won't eat!
Have you had her throat checked out? My guy had mono back in November and pretty much stopped eating anything because it hurt too much. He was also gagging on things that he should not be gagging on (applesauce...). Like your baby, my guy has been sick with cold and ear infections since October and that is pretty much when his eating took a nosedive. He still has puss on his tonsils and is back on the Amoxicillin (sp).
I would try and look in your baby's throat and see if you see white stuff back thereor if it just looks "off" to you. When my guy had mono he did not have a fever or anything, but I noticed that his throat was just white and gross looking. It was odd to me and I am no expert with this stuff. Plus, his breath was bad. Since you are concerned about her eating, you may just want to call the doc and see if they could check out her thorat.
Go Phils!!
This. My son has been receiving therapy for feeding and sensory issues since he was 12 months old. He receives therapy sessions, 1x a week, and when he first started, he was strictly on purees and taking a bottle of formula. He is now on all table foods, and is completely on a sippy. The therapy helps so much. I would have a conversation as soon as possible to see what the issue is.
This. She should have a thorough medical evaluation and an evaluation by an OT or SLP.
