DH is super dad and takes babies to daycare and picks them up. Tomorrow is day#3 of daycare. Our daycare is a stand alone building with no overhang to drive under. It's currently raining pretty hard and supposed to continue in the AM.
What do you do when transporting 2 infant carriers? Leave one baby in the car while you take the other inside or risk one baby getting wet while you get the other carrier out of the car?
Just curious. DH said he'd consider working from home so he wouldn't have to deal with it. ha! That's not always an option though......
Re: Dropping twins off in rain
I would put the canopy up on the car seat and then throw a blanket over the whole thing so they stayed dry and didnt get a gust of wind. your Dh can just grab the handel through the blanket so there is no gaps.
Sad to say but ya gotta get use to it. I actually found getting them in and out of the car alone at that age was way easier hahaha.,.. now they dont want to be held or keep thier hoods up or they want to run away hahahha! so it only gets more fun!
You can put up the canopy and put a blanket over or get something like this to put over the carrier and just put the flap over the babies for carrying them in and out of the daycare.

pull the canopy down, and lay a coat over it, too... get other baby out- canopy/cover - and run.
now that i have to use a stroller to bring them in i park in the disabled parking (there are 3 spots that are never used so i don't feel bad)... and put the stroller under the overhang by the door- and quickly run each child to the stroller and strap in - this way i can use an umbrella, and strap them in without getting soaked.
thankfully it doesn't happen THAT often.... b/c it does suck the big one.
