butt paste and disposable liners ?

LO's butt is looking pretty raw and the only diaper rash cream I have on hand is Boudreax's Butt Paste. I put it on her and put 2 disposable liners over it, then the prefold and cover. Do I need to strip the prefold after using it or can I wash it with my regular diapers? I know that diaper rash cream keeps diapers from being absorbent, but I couldn't let LO suffer.

I would be afraid of the oils from the cream getting into the diaper and causing stink issues. Get some fleece (either at a fabric store, walmart, etc. or cut up a fleece blanket) and use those instead. Hand wash them separately and you should be fine. I wouldn't worry about your diapers now unless you see them having issues (not absorbing, stink issues, etc.).
