I had my 38 week appt today and lil huggins was kickin my butttttt while I was waiting for the u/s tech. She took all her measurements and commented how well baby always cooperates for her when she does measurements. But then she freaks me out and tells me to move onto my side because she wants to see the baby move since they've been so still throughout. She comments that oh look baby's breathing....(the practice kind of course) Then I get freaked even more when she asks if I've felt the baby move recently. I told her sitting in the waiting room I felt the lil bugger beating me up. She said that made her feel better because sometimes with the way they curl up towards the end of the pregnancy you feel less movements due to their positioning since the feet curl up and stuff. I then had to deal with an issue with a return from the other day and again the baby was beating my arse up!!
Baby huggins did the same thing the other day during the NST...While the nursewas putting it on huggins was having a party and the nurse saw it but then the baby went into hibernation mode during the test which made the doc nervous because the heart rate was slow so she sloshed my belly around to wake up LO got the heart rate she wanted and sent me home. Then for the next 2 hours I got my arse beat again...lol
So my thought is that lil huggins knows when I walk through the door I guess they recognize the nurses voices and the sounds of the Dr's office and goes into hibernation until I leave just to be a brat..lol I see lots of sassing and time outs in my future!! bahahaha!!
Re: My child is a stubborn brat...dang it we're in trouble..lol!
Haha! I'm glad all is well with your LO, even if they are being a little stubborn.
I know I feel like I just found out I was pg!! lol I'm soooooooooooooo excited that you are here and your numbers were freakin awesome!! Fingers are crossed your next draw is just as fantastic!!!
LOL much like my dogs do! haha I have to catch them on video because no one believes me!! I know we're in biiiiiiiiiiiiiig trouble with this one....I'm seeing that the stubborn Polish gene from both sides of my family are toooooootally showing up in LO.
Our LOs must be pen pals or something- mine does totally the same thing! I've had two NSTs take over an hour b/c stubborn head decided to take a nap and wouldn't wake up. This last time I tricked her though and fed her grape juice about half an hour before the test!
