Last week, a few days after I miscarried I ordered this charm to put on a necklace chain to wear around my neck. It is hard to see but it is a heart with footprints and I had 13wks engraved on it (that was how long I was pregnant with LO). It also has a birthstone charm and I put July's birthstone (when I was due). I think this will help with my loss carrying something that reminds me of LO near to my heart.
Has anyone else done something or bought something to remember your LO by?
Re: In Memory of LO (PIP)
With our first loss we planted a bush in our back yard.
It's HUGE now. (over 5 years old)
It's a lovely growing reminder and I cherish it.
We didn't continue the tradition or we would have needed to re-landscape our yard.
We do have a different angel Christmas tree ornament for each of our losses. My first loss was in November and a friend anonymously dropped one off on my front porch. Who ever she is (no one will admit to it) has continued the tradition with each of my losses.
I have amazing friends.
I love having a representation of each of my angels right there spending the holidays with us.
I love your charm and hope if continues to bring you peace!
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
So Sorry for you Loss!!
thats exactly what I have been looking for!! if you dont mind, Where did you get it from? Its beautiful and hope it helps you through this journey.

That is precious! I love it.
I have bought a lot of jewelry since we lost Ella. It feels good to have something with you at all times to remember your LO-that's why I think jewelry is great.
My most special is an emerald ring(Ella's birthstone). DH gave me that for mother's day. Ella was born the day after mother's day. So, I wear that every day.
Then I have a few necklaces. I have a handstamped one with her name on it I ordered from etsy and a gragonfly necklace.
This weekend we went to Kohls and I found a necklace that has two hearts on it. I have been wanting something for the baby we just lost. So, I got that one- to me one heart is for Ella and one for our other baby. I also found a little tiny locket that has "my daughter, my love" on the back-so I got that too.

My mom bought be a necklace from www.thevintagepearl.com but in addition to that, since my loss was on Christmas Eve (2007) we have gone out each year and purchased a toy for Toys for Tots that would have been age appropriate for my LO. Kind of helps me think of him as growing up.
I also have a windchime that I got the first mother's day after my loss. Every time I hear it in the breeze I think of him speaking to me.
