Success after IF

H's idea of doing laundry:

Throwing 1 load in the washing machine and waiting for me to discover that they are still in there when it is my turn to do the laundry... .

Pet peeve of the week. Feel free to add yours!

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Re: H's idea of doing laundry:

  • Apparently my H has still not learned to closet a cabinet/drawer/closet door after opening it.  Drives me INSANE.  One day he heard me telling someone that was my pet peeve.  The next morning when I woke up ever single cabinet door, drawer and closet door was wide open.  This was not as funny at 6am to me as he thought it would be.

  • Oh, I hate that! DH NEVER takes clothes out of the dryer. Drives me insane!!!

How about this one: Seeing that your wife has taken the time to unload and reload the dishwasher, and then leaving your dirty dishes in the sink. Bonus-he doesn't even bother rinsing them off! Aaargh!!

My H's version of making the bed is to half-assedly pull the covers up- they are often not even straight.

Drives me crazy each night when I get home, but he gets up after I leave so I can't even fix it.

are we married to the same man?  Although I think he thinks he deserves bonus points for getting it out to the kitchen....

If clothes are still in the dryer, my husband will sometimes decide to dump everything on the laundry room floor to dig through it for what he wants - won't attempt to fold it or even put it back in the dryer so that I can fold it later.  He learned his lesson with that one last week!  :)

  • Are we married to the same man?? So frustrating!!

ETA:  I just went back to read the responses after I posted this.  Haha! Sounds like we could all be married to the same man.

DH will put dishes in the sink under the guise of letting them "soak" so he can do them later.  And then he proceeds to put other things that aren't even soak worthy like a cup or clean utensils in the nasty soaking water, and then everything needs to be almost washed before it goes in the dishwasher.
