Update: I feel like I'm in limbo until I get my 2nd beta & progesterone levels checked. I am going to call when they open and push for today versus on Thursday.
QOTW: We just bought a new house in 2009 and the only thing right now that I would like to do is paint and put crown molding up. I just wish I knew how to pick out paint colors that would compliment our furnishings!
Update: CD14 of Cycle 21 - just waiting to O tomorrow or Wednesday. I scheduled an RE appointment in Colorado for May, when I should hopefully be moved and settled. I think the receptionist thought I was a little crazy for setting up an appointment so far out, but it makes me feel better to at least have something on the calendar.
QOTW: If we were staying in our house, granite countertops and a water softener would have been 2011 projects, as well as painting and decorating the 2nd guest room.
Update: BFN for cycle #2 of clomid. Taking a clomid break this month and getting a HSG.
QOTW: I have lots of things I want to do to our house. This year - I want to replace the kitchen counters, get new curtains for some rooms, new bed frame, fix the fence, paint the 1/2 bathroom and replace faucet....the list could go on...

Update: I had an ultrasound on Friday (CD12) I have one follicle at 17 and 2 or 3 more around 11. I got a positive surge this morning, so as long as the blood work confirms looks like I'll be triggering tonight and IUI #2 will be Wednesday morning.
QOTW: There are a lot of things I would like to update on our house. Windows and siding for starters, carpet, trim and doors would be next. This summer we have to put a new pool liner in and we have to have our driveway redone. So I'm hoping for windows and siding for the summer of 2012.

We have our IVF Seminar on January 12th and then start our meds and move forward with IVF. Should be around the end of February. Which would be DH and my 5 years together anniversary as well.
QOTW: I would LOVE to have a bathtub in the master bathroom instead of a shower only.
Three more cycles until we have the money for IUI's! I'm sure these last few months will fly by (I Hope).
QOTD: We rent a beautiful townhose. I love that there's so much space, the location, that we don't have to shovel snow or mow the lawn. Plus our landlord used to live here and it's his only rental so he really cares about the place but other than fixing things leaves us alone. BUT can't wait in a year or two to buy a house.

Morning Ladies! Happy New Year to all
I am back from a 10 day much needed vacation!! I feel so much more relaxed and I am glad 2010 is behind me now. Update on me, I am still on BC for IVF#1 and I am on day 3 of Lupron shots. I have my suppression check next monday 1/10 and then hopefully will start stims 1/12. So far so good. Just alittle spotting but not too bad.
QOTW: What are some things you?d like to do to update your house? If you don?t own a house yet, what are some things you like about living in an apartment/condo/or renting? We actually want to move closer to my mom and dad's house. If we have twins then we are going to need their help. We are waiting to see when we get pregnant, with 1 or 2, then we are putting our house up on the market.
Can I please join the check in? I would like to *try" to be more active at posting now that we are past the holidays.

My DH and I currently live with my parents while our dream house is built so in terms of things I'd like to do we are actually doing most of them including granite counters and stainless steel in the kitchen, and heated floors in the master bath.
Update: I'm currently on Lupron, so far the side effects have been very mild ::knock on wood:: I have my suppression check on Wed. and if all looks good I'll start stims Friday. My projected ER is the week of Jan. 17.
QOTW: We don't plan on being in our current house much longer so there isn't much I would do. If we were going to stay I would re-do the kitchen counter tops & back splash. We'd also fix up both bathrooms, new cabinets, tile, paint, etc.
Update: I'm still in the 2ww. Will probably wait to test on Saturday (14dpo) if I can wait that long.
QOTW: MH and I built a house last year and closed in June. I still have not put pictures up on the wall! Also, the unused bedroom (which will one day be our nursery) is full of stuff that we need to sort and put away.
Update: I started bcp's for my IVF cycle on Saturday! Got dates for everything too:) Friday I go in for a mock transfer and sign all the paperwork/consents:)
QOTW: We're having a friend help us do some built ins in our living room soon and I want to re-do one of our bathrooms. Nothing that HAS to be done though... all of that has already been done:P

** We are also pursuing adoption, albeit a lot slower than most. It is on our horizon, so I can be added there.
QOTW: What are some things you?d like to do to update your house? We are hoping to buy a new house in the spring, so we need to get this one ready to put on the market (or maybe rent). Painting, minor cosmetic updates, major organization projects because we have too much stuff and are always too busy to really keep it organized. 2011 is the year of organization and focus for me.
Hi ladies! I thought I would update you all since our BFN on IVF#1 and the holidays I have MIA. We met with our RE last week and they have decided to change my protocol for IVF#2. Instead of Lupron I will be using Ganirelix and they also dropped my Gonal-F dosage A LOT from 225 IUs to 75 IUs. They are hoping this new med combination will solve the issue of the spike I had in my E2 levels. I am on BCPs now and will take them an extra week because of work timing. They are estiamting ER/ET to be the week of 1/30.
I'm sorry I won't be around much in the next few weeks either but I work at a community college and January is a very busy time for us. Also wanted to pass along my congrats to JKGymanst and Lyse on their BFPs, I am so happy for you ladies. I'm sure I have missed a lot more so congrats, good luck and hugs to all:)

Update: Not much to update, still in break cycle mode...
QOTD: Our house was completed gutted and redone right before we bought it 2 years ago (it was a flipped house) so there's not much to do, although we are saving to put in a patio and built-in grill in our yard. Our yard is also pretty bare, so we're slowly getting it into shape and adding more plants each year.
After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!
Update: Had my first monitoring appointment today for IUI#2 and I'm "almost there" with my follie at 17, so my IUI will likely be over the next few days. My guess would be Wednesday, but since it's unmedicated, we'll see what my body feels like doing.
QOTW: We own a condo that we rent out and have been renting the apt we live in for a bit. We should be able to buy a house later this year. I love just being able to call maintenance and have them come to fix/replace things and the amenities- pools, gym, concierge, etc. and the convenience of it all. I'm going to miss that.

QOTW: Once the weather gets warmer, I'd like to look into putting a patio in our backyard. Right now it's just all grass and we don't use it too much.

I haven't updated for a LONG time and I thought I would come in and drop a quick line. While on my break I thought it would be best to take a bump break too. I have missed you ladies. We are currently still on a treatment break. We are attempting one final Hail Mary cycle this month before going back to the RE. I can't believe we are on cycle 19, never did I think we would get here.
QOTW-We are currently in the process of finishing our basement, by ourselves. We look back now and wish we would of spent the money on a contractor as we are not moving as fast as we would have liked.
