  As long as there are no MFI issues, I'd say waiting about 36-48 hours would be fine.  He needs to be "fresher" than 48 hours out.

  all my clinic says is the day of trigger go ahead and bd. then the next day give dh a break so in the morning he can have a decent sample to give. so just one day breaks is good.

  Our RE makes that call based on DH's sperm count.  She said that she has many couples abstain longer, but for us, she told us to do TI the night of triggering, then IUI 36 hours later.  GL!
